Nancy Jane Lamb Brumbaugh, 91, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at her home in Staunton.
She was born on April 4, 1934, in Staunton to the late William Alexander and Mary Jane Back Lamb.
For over fifty years, Nancy devoted herself to caring for children, offering them love, guidance, and unwavering comfort.
She was member of Calvary Baptist Church in Staunton, where she found joy in worship and fellowship.
Nancy was also known for her cooking. Her meals brought people together, and her kitchen was always full of warmth and kindness.
She is survived by her son, Michael Kevin Brumbaugh; her daughter, Teresa Pamela Brumbaugh; her special companion, Marvin Edward Brumbaugh; her sisters, Dorothy Lee Lamb Cason and Barbara Jean Lamb Stephenson; her grandchildren, Michael Traverse Brumbaugh and Alyssa Clare Brumbaugh; and her great grandchild, Kimberleigh Meriska Brumbaugh LaCroy.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Orlando Brumbaugh; her son, Willis Wayne Brumbaugh; her brothers, Robert Alexander and Lee Roy Lamb.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton with Pastor Bobby Campbell officiating.
Interment will immediately follow at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro.
