Nancy Kizziah Bryant

Nancy Sue Kizziah Bryant, 94, of Ooltewah, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Born in McDonald, Tennessee, Nancy was a graduate of Bradley Central High School and Tennessee Wesleyan College where she was a member of Sigma Iota Chi Sorority and served on the staff of the school annual, the Nacatula.

After marrying J.C. Kizziah whom she met in college and later moving to Chattanooga, she began raising her family and working as an executive secretary for the Chattanooga Housing Authority, American Lava, 3M, Coors, and G.E. Ceramics. During her career she was awarded National Secretary of the Year for the Southern Region of The United States. She was a member of Wesley Memorial UMC for many years and currently a member at Christ UMC.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Ruth Watkins Bailey and brothers Clyde Bailey, Garnett Bailey, Eugene Bailey, and Cletis Bailey.

Nancy is also preceded in death by her first husband, J.C Kizziah. She is survived by current husband Pete Bryant, children Steve Kizziah (Karen), Greg Kizziah (Bobbi), Jan Rosson (Ron). Stepchildren Mitchell Bryant (Becky), Scott Bryant (Marla), and Linda Bartmess. Grandchildren Natalie Kizziah Hostetler, Drew Kizziah, Brandon Allen, Emily Rosson, Dylan Rosson (Gigi), Nick Moore (Emily), Miranda Goulding (Justin), Chris Kizziah (Terue), Heather Kizziah. Several step grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Drew Kizziah, Andrew Kizziah, Wesley Bailey, Lee Brock, Rob Whittle, Nick Moore, Dylan Rosson and Andrew Womack.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 P.M. Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Jack Edwards officiating.
