David Lee Gann

David Lee Gann, 76, passed away on January 28th with his loving wife of 33 years, Shana Mc Entire Gann, by his side. He was born in Chattanooga TN,

David was the son of Maggie Elizabeth (Bessie) Treadway and attended Kirkman high school. David was a talented carpenter and spent 25 years employed at US Express as manager of the mailroom. David was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. His peers and friends would best describe him as kind, intelligent, and funny. David lit up every room he entered and had irresistible magnetism. In his leisurely time, David enjoyed spending time with his cat Cowboy and most of all, enjoying his collection of vinyl records. He will be remembered for his incredible taste in music and charisma, which was felt and loved by all.

David is predeceased by his mother Bessie and his four brothers John, Dan, Gilbert and Rick.

He is survived by his wife Shana McEntire Gann, the mother of his children Teresa, his son David Lee Gann Jr, his daughter Cherilyn Galaway and his four granddaughters Jadah, Angela, Maggie and Grace.

Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of life at the Comfort Inn- Exit 1 East Ridge on February 7, 2026, from 4:00PM – 7:00PM.
