On Friday, January 30, 2026, Mrs. Nancy Kelly Bryant, 71, passed away peacefully at Richmond County Hospice Haven in Rockingham with her loving family at her bedside.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2026, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
Nancy was born May 28, 1954, in Anson County, NC and was a daughter of the late Sim Delano Kelly and the late Faye Miller Kelly. She attended Anson County Public Schools and had a long career in textiles which included West Knitting Mills in Wadesboro and Burlington Industries in Rockingham.
She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a real, no-nonsense kind of lady with a personality larger than life.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her husband, Rufus M. Bryant; her children, April Parks (Lowell) of Wadesboro, Chris Wright (Stacy) of Holden Beach, P. J. Kistler of Rockingham, Joshua LaCroix and Jonathan Lacroix both of Billings, MT, Chelsea Bryant of McFarlan and Taylor Bryant of Cheraw, SC; her grandchildren, Hayley Wright, Tyler Blalock (Shelby), Megan Biles (Brandon), Hunter Blalock (Molly), Christian Wright, Dawton Kistler, Ellieana Kistler, Bailey LaCroix, Isiah LaCroix, Micah LaCroix, Jameson LaCroix, Kennedi LaCroix, Limmerick LaCroix, and Ronan LaCroix; 7 great-grandchildren and her brother, Dale Kelly (Kathy) of Lilesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Kelly.
Nancy’s family is most grateful to the staff at Richmond County Hospice Haven in Rockingham for the excellent and loving care they provided for her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice Haven, 1119 N US 1 HWY, Rockingham, NC 28379.
