Nancy's dedication to education was evident in her long and fruitful career as a teacher, a vocation she pursued for four decades with passion and excellence. Her influence extended beyond the classroom, touching the lives of countless students and colleagues. Nancy held a Master's degree in Education, which she used to inspire a love of learning in her students and to instill the values of perseverance and intellectual curiosity.
Nancy's life was rich with interests and hobbies that she shared with her loving family. She found joy and relaxation in playing sudoku, quilting, sewing, and crocheting, creating a legacy of beautiful handcrafted pieces that her family will treasure forever. However, nothing compared to the happiness she felt when surrounded by her family. Nancy was the heart of every family gathering, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy to those around her.
She is survived by her two daughters, Terry and Linda. Terry's husband Scott; as well as her nine grandchildren, their spouses and seventeen great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Each of them will carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and friendliness that defined Nancy's life. She was preceded in death by her husband John Phillip Buchner Jr, whom passed away in June of 2005.
