Nancy was born on June 30, 1941 in Cohoctah, Michigan to the late Orville and Velma (Schrepfer) Antcliff. She attended Laingsburg High School, graduating in 1959. On October 29, 1960, Nancy married James Byrnes at St. Paul Catholic Church in Owosso. They resided in Laingsburg and were married 31 years until his passing on November 27, 1991.
Nancy was a devout Catholic and member of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Laingsburg, where she enjoyed attending mass and serving wherever she was needed. After retiring she volunteered at the Sparrow Hospital Gift Shop for nearly 20 years.
Nancy loved spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters, listening to lively music, dancing, and traveling to many different countries in her lifetime. Her two favorite places to be with her family were at her cottage in Lake City in the summer and St. Pete Beach, Florida in the winter where she stayed at the Sand Piper Resort for the past 40 years.
Nancy is survived by her son, Robert (Melissa) Byrnes; granddaughters: Reanna and Mariah and her brother, William (Judy) Antcliff.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; sister, Lucille Forrest and nephew, William Antcliff, II.
