Nancy Cade

Nancy Cade, 77, of Poughkeepsie, New York, passed away on February 2, 2026, at her residence.

Nancy was born on February 1, 1949, in Widen, West Virginia, to the late William Otto Bragg and Ida DeFelice. She later made Poughkeepsie her home, where she lived for many years.

Nancy was formerly employed by the Arlington School District, where she worked as a bus driver. She was known for her reliability, kindness, and dedication to the children she transported each day.

She was predeceased by her parents and by her brother, William Bragg.

Nancy is survived by her loving children: Robert, and his wife Lauren, and their children, all of Poughkeepsie; Thomas, and his children, of Beacon; and her daughter Nancy, of Los Angeles, California.

In her free time, Nancy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved cats, gardening, and spending time in nature. She also had a special fondness for milkshakes and Italian pastries, which brought her comfort and happiness.

Nancy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love for her family, and the quiet joys that defined her life.
