Nancy Cebula Obituary

Nancy T. Cebula
1965 - 2026
Belchertown
With profound love and sadness, we announce the passing of Nancy T. Cebula, who left this world on Feb. 11, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. True to who she was, she never once gave up, holding tightly to her positivity, strength, and deep love of life until the very end.
She lived a full and beautiful life defined by compassion, joy, resilience, and devotion to family. A lifelong caregiver who began her journey in healthcare at just fifteen years old as a candy striper. Her passion for caring for others only grew stronger over time as she became a patient care technician and then fulfilled her goal of becoming a registered nurse. She concluded her remarkable career in healthcare in a leadership role in the Perianesthesia Care Unit, where she mentored others and made a lasting impact on colleagues and patients alike. She leaves behind extraordinary friends and co-workers who brought her daily joy and who will carry her memory forward.
At home, she was the heart of the family. A ferocious reader who could often be found lost in the pages of a good book. She loved dancing in the living room with her children, turning ordinary afternoons into moments of laughter and music. She was a gifted gardener with a deep love for flowers and plants, nurturing each bloom delighting in the quiet miracle of watching her garden come to life season after season. She found peace and happiness at the beach, joy in floating on the lake under the sun, and comfort in sharing a good glass of wine with the people she loved.
Her greatest pride and deepest love were her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind her beloved children: Victoria Zenyuch; Elizabeth Drewniany and her husband Devon; Alexandra Cebula and her husband Shane Clark; and Samuel Braese. She was a devoted and adoring grandmother to Aurora Zenyuch, Anika Cebula, Carabelle Clark, and Sharon Clark. They were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her mother, Ann Morin; her father, Ed Pazik; and her sisters Barbara Lemanski and Julie Belniak.
She will be remembered for her strength, her laughter, her unwavering compassion, and the way she made everyone feel cared for. Her legacy lives on in the lives she healed, the family she nurtured, and the love she gave so freely.
Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the years we shared with her and the example she set: to live fully, love deeply, and never stop dancing.
Family and friends may gather for calling hours on Wed., Feb 18th from 5:00-8:00pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
