Richard Joseph Cebula, born on April 13, 1951, in Warren, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, in Troy, Michigan, after bravely facing serious medical issues. Richard's courage throughout his battle was a testament to his character and love for his family.

Richard held a deep affection for his family, which was evident throughout his life. He cherished the time spent with his living relatives, including his beloved sisters and brother: Mary, Barbara, Carol, Joan, John and Daniel. His bond with his nieces and nephews was equally strong, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and joys in life. He is survived by nephews David, John, and Alex, as well as nieces Cindy, Maria, and Joanna, who will remember him fondly and carry his legacy forward.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sophie Cebula (Arcikiewicz), who instilled in him the values of love and family. Richard also mourned the loss of his sister, Joan, and nephew Jeffrey, whose memories stayed close to his heart.

Beyond his dedication to family, Richard had an array of interests that brought him joy.
