Nancy Cheung Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 12, 2023.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Cheung on July 3, 2023. She was a beloved wife, mother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Nancy was born on June 15, 1960 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Davis where she met her husband, Benson. She then embarked on a successful career at HP as a Technical Marketing Engineer. When her daughter, Natalie, was born, Nancy became an independent consultant which allowed her to have a flexible work schedule and dedicate more time to being a mom.
Family was at the core of Nancy's life. She was a devoted spouse to Ben, whom she married in September of 1985. She was also a loving parent to Natalie, and a doting grandparent to Mochi the cat. Recently, she also warmly welcomed Willy, her son-in-law, to the family.
In her free time, Nancy had a variety of passions and hobbies. While Natalie was growing up, Nancy loved to volunteer at school events and swim meets. She was known for her joyous smile and ability to bring people together with her engaging storytelling. Nancy was also an avid traveler, and her enthusiasm for trying new foods and experiences became an integral part of her travels with family and friends.
Let us find comfort in the knowledge that she has left an indelible mark on our lives. She treasured the time spent with her loved ones, creating cherished memories that will endure for generations. May we honor her memory by living each day to the fullest, spreading kindness, just as she did. As we mourn the passing of this remarkable individual, let us also celebrate the vibrant and fulfilling life she led.
