Nancy Louise (Adams) Choate, daughter of George and Sue Adams, was born August 18, 1963, and departed this life January 1, 2026, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, at 62 years of age.
Nancy graduated from Willard High School with the class of 1981. She spent most of her life in the Springfield and Seymour, Missouri, areas. Nancy was united in marriage to Rob Choate on April 6, 1985, in Springfield, Missouri, and three children were born to this union: Tim, Russell, and Robin. Early in life, Nancy worked as a pet groomer for a few years. When their children came along, Nancy stayed home to raise her family and cherished her role as a mother and homemaker. Over the past decade, she enjoyed working as a crew trainer at McDonalds of Seymour.
Nancy’s hobbies included going to concerts, museums, and thrift stores, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, reading, and visiting with her friends and family. Above all, Nancy loved her family and enjoyed spending as much quality time with them as she could. When the boys were young, she always enjoyed attending their sporting events, and later, they all enjoyed traveling together as a family.
Nancy was saved and baptized at an early age. She rededicated her life to the Lord, along with her husband, Rob, at Ava Full Gospel Church in 1991.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, George Adams.
She is survived by her loving husband, Rob Choate, three children, Tim Choate and wife, Casey, Russell Choate and wife, Krystina, and Robin Choate, six grandchildren, Candace, Timothy Jr., Matthew, Chloe, Aiden, and Helen Choate, her mother, Sue Adams, her brother, William Adams, and a multitude of extended family and friends who will miss her.
