Nancy Lee Warner Daffer, 90, passed away peacefully at home under hospice care. She was born on January 6, 1935 in rural Nebraska to Dale and Leah (Welborn) Warner. Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She graduated with honors from the University of South Florida in 1967 and began her teaching career at Forest Hills Elementary in Hillsborough County. After she and her family moved to Crystal Springs, Nancy, a dedicated teacher, worked for the Pasco County School system for 23 years until she retired in 1993 from Woodland Elementary School. Nancy was an Elder at First Christian Church and supported Christian Churches (DOC) from the age of 17 throughout her life. She was a charter member of Alpha Delta Kappa teacher's sorority and belonged for more than 50 years. Nancy also was active in DAR and the East Pasco Genealogical Society until health problems curtailed her participation. She enjoyed attending auctions and estate sales, especially antiquing.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Stanley Daffer, brother Blair Warner and daughter Janet Hall. She is survived by brothers Dennis Warner (Kay) Ocala and Bradley Warner (Oldsmar) and sister-in-law Jane Warner (Cedartown GA) brother-in-law Harlow Daffer (Sandra) McCook NE and sister-in-law Ruby Leavitt (Ontario CA) daughters Joyce and Laura Daffer (Zephyrhills) Genie Cass (Steve) Johannasburg MI and son-in-law Ronnie Hall (Childersburg AL) grandchildren Christina Hall (Mobile AL) Jana Hall Jennings (Gadsden AL) Leah Cass Bunch (Austin) Knightdale NC and Ryan Cass (Michelle) Johannasburg MI, 8 great-grandchildren and one due to arrive in October, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and daughter of the heart Cynthia Craig. Thanks to Gulfside Hospice Sapphire C care team for their excellent care. Inurnment will take place at Lebanon, Nebraska. In memory, donations may be made to First Christian Church, Zephyrhills or a charity of your choice.

A Celebration of Life for Nancy Daffer will be September 27, 2025 at 4:00 PM at First Christian Church, Zephyrhills.
