Nancy R. Davis (Foster) born July 12, 1943 in Oak Hill, Ohio to Ralph and Irene Foster. She passed August 3, 2025 surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Davis, of 62 years and her parents.
She is survived by her daughters, Jamie Davis and Julie (Mike) Cowgill; grandchildren, Cody and Courtney Cowgill; and her dog, Buckeye.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, and friend. Her warm spirit, gentle strength, and unwavering support were the heart of her family. She had a quiet grace, a loving presence, and a gift for making others feel at home. Whether through her cooking, her kindness, or simply her steady hand, Nancy made an indelible impact on all who knew her.
She never let anyone go hungry, or win at a card game. Nancy had a deep appreciation for life's meaningful moments and always made holidays and special occasions feel extraordinary.
Nancy enjoyed card games, laughing around the dinner table, and spending time with Jim on their many travels. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, whom she was so proud of.
Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love, humility, and quiet resilience. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 10th at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E.
