So sorry to hear of the passing of Nancy. Nancy was a lifelong friend of my parents and I remember countless visits to here apartment on Lake Shore Blvd. to have lunch and/or visit the nearby beach. Also, visits to the downtown public library via the rapid transit were days I will never forget. I still have a book she gave me as a child "Wind in the willows". You were a wonderful person Nancy and I cherish the times we spent together!

I was so sorry to hear of Nancy´s passing. I came to know Nancy approximately 10 yrs ago as I was the mailman for her condo complex. After a few weeks of mail delivery to her I noticed she would come to her door next to her mailbox using a walker so I let her know that I would be more than happy to knock when I got there and hand deliver her mail to her seated in her favorite chair so she wouldn´t have to walk out to her mailbox any longer and we soon became good friends. We learned so much about each other over the next 6 years and meeting Nancy was the highlight of my postal career. We would talk for at least 15 minutes daily and Nancy never ceased to amaze me with all her travels and career success´s not to mention her love for hockey and Cleveland sports teams. I can honestly say that i have never in my life met anyone with a more positive attitude toward life than Nancy, nothing ever got her down or in a bad mood and I admired her in not only that but also to many to even mention. Over the years Nancy and I became great friends that lasted into my retirement. I will miss our visits but I take solace in knowing your reward in heaven will be abundant. Love you Nancy and goodbye for now my friend.

You were a role model for the books, Nancy. As a kid, I always cherished spending time with you and my grandmother. You were a fierce trail blazer, while simultaneously projecting gentleness that I always admired. Rest easy. You will be missed and never forgotten.
