Tyler Gary Dowding

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Tyler Gary Dowding on November 14, 2025 as a result of a tragic accident. He was born on July 25, 2003, and brought joy and laughter to his loved ones from the minute he was born. 

Tyler was known for his love of music. As an aspiring DJ, he was constantly creating and playing his latest beats for his friends and family. He loved going to raves and dancing with everyone. Laughter was constant, as Tyler always had a witty joke or funny video to share. He loved anything comedy, from South Park to an early 2000s movie. 

Tyler is remembered for his generosity and compassion. He shared without hesitation, and hugged everyone he met. His bright smile and curly hair are ingrained in his loved one’s hearts. His glasses highlighted his eyes and gave us a window into his beautiful soul.

Tyler is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Cindy and David Dowding, and his aunt, Betsy Bender. He is survived by his mother, Mary Dowding, father, David Dowding, sister, Madison Dowding, and maternal grandparents, Gary & Dorothy Albert.  He is cherished by countless uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held at Messiah United Methodist Church, West Springfield, VA, at 1:00 P.M on November 22nd, 2025. 

Tyler’s impact was immeasurable, and he will be remembered and loved always.
