Nancy Marie Dudley

Nancy Marie Thomas Dudley, age 93, of Scotland Neck, NC passed away on March 02, 2026 at her home in Scotland Neck, NC. Nancy was born on October 26, 1932 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to her parents, William and Mary.

Nancy worked as a Music and Voice Teacher. She loved music and loved teaching music to her students in Scotland Neck, Roanoke Rapids, and all over eastern NC. She was a soloist and played the organ, piano, banjo, guitar, and flute. Nancy was also an avid member of the Episcopal faith.

Nancy was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Scotland Neck and was a treasured member of the Guild at Chowan College.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Charles Dudley; and her sister, Shirley Tinsley.

Nancy is survived by her children, Laurie Ann Dudley, Scott Dudley and his wife, Sherri, James Johny Dudley and his wife, Cheri, and Jeffrey Dudley; her grandchildren, Corrine Luthy, Bethany Luthy, Reid Thomas Dudley, Mariah Grace Dudley, Lisa Renee Dudley, April Dudley, Isabella Grace Dudley, Alexander Dudley, and Dillon Coker; and her great-grandchildren, Nolan Batten, Colton Edwards, Avery Grace Dudley, and Ava Marie Slade.

The family will receive friends at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service - Letchworth Chapel in Scotland Neck on Wednesday March 4, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Scotland Neck. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.
