Nancy Dianne Duerr, 70, of Perry, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Visitation for Dianne will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Centerpoint Church, 2440 GA-127, Kathleen, GA 31047. There will be no formal service for Dianne. The family requested everyone to come and share memories with family and friends. Dinner for family only will follow at the home of Brian and Angela Whitehead, 119 Farm Estates Road, Perry, Georgia, 31069. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Dianne's memory to FOPAS, Friends of Perry Animal Shelter, 204 Kellwood Drive, Perry, Georgia 31069. Dianne was born on February 3, 1955, in Vidalia, Georgia, to the late Thomas Kermit Beasley and the late Mary Esther Page Beasley. At an early age, Dianne and her siblings moved to Perry, Georgia, where they were raised and educated. Dianne was a proud graduate of The Westfield School in 1973. Several years after graduating Westfield, Dianne enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served her country for four years. After her honorable discharge, she went on to be trained in the respiratory field and worked briefly at Perry Hospital. Dianne enjoyed being in nature, gardening, traveling, and feeding the birds. She loved her two cats, Josie and Lila. Dianne loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and enjoyed reading the Bible. Dianne was predeceased by her parents; her companion, Ron Syria; her niece, Charlotte Smith; and her brother-in-law, Ronnie McGinnis. Dianne will be deeply missed by her sisters, Lanae McGinnis of Perry, Georgia, Angela Whitehead (Brian) of Perry, Georgia, and June Newton (Mike) of Woodstock, Georgia; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
