Nancy Durante

Nancy "Tina" Durante, born in Paolisi, Italy on November 16, 1929, was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Durante and the cherished mother of Egidio and his partner, Irina. She was also a proud and loving nonna to Joseph and Stephanie, and adored her furry grandson, Tito. Tina passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at the age of 95.
Tina's family was her world. She loved "her people" deeply, including her little brother Dominic, her late brothers Alfonso and Joe, her late sister Lena, and all her wonderful nieces and nephews, who brought her so much joy. She adored spending time with her sisters-in-law Rosa and Carolina, who were her best friends.
Tina showed her love through food-especially by gifting her homemade biscotti and eggplant Parmesan. She always made extra at dinner time, just so she could send her loved ones home with the leftovers. Her hospitality and generous spirit made everyone who entered her home feel welcome and special. Her table was always full of pasta, homemade wine, laughter, and love.
Tina will be remembered as il nostro tesoro pi' grande: beautiful, warm, strong, devoted to those she loved, and of course, the life of the party.
