Nancy E. (Wilson) Dycewicz
Bentley, Michigan
Nancy Eleanor Dycewicz (Wilson), age 83, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, in Midland, Michigan. Born on July 10, 1942, in
Saginaw, Michigan, Nancy lived a vibrant and full life rooted in love for her family, deep friendships, and a zest for laughter and connection.
Nancy was born to Eleanor and George Wilson and grew up in a close-knit Catholic household alongside her siblings. She carried the values of faith, family, and resilience throughout her life. Her warmth and humor were hallmarks of her personality-traits that endeared her to all who knew her.
She shared a devoted marriage with her beloved husband Phil Dycewicz until his passing. Together they built a life filled with adventure and joy. Nancy especially cherished riding on the back of Big Phil's Harley, embracing the open road with spirit and laughter.
Family was at the heart of everything Nancy did. She was a proud mother to Kirk (Lisa), Phil (Shay), and Patsy. Her love extended deeply to her grandchildren-Blake (Brealle), Paten (Jordan), Chandler, Lexi, Tristan (Maddy), and Serenity-and further still to her great-grandchildren Crew, Olive, Knox, and Ivy. Nancy also remained close with her siblings Larry (Terri) Wilson, Connie (Loyd) Seeburger, Paul (Sheri) Wilson, sisters-in-law Dorothy, and Mary Wilson.
She held dear the memory of those who preceded her in death: her husband Phil; parents Eleanor and George Wilson; brothers Bob and Leroy Wilson; niece LeeAnn Enser; nephew Bobby Wilson; son-in-law Kirk Worley; sister-in-law Joan Weight; and parents-in-law Lottie and Frank.
Nancy had an extraordinary gift for bringing people together. Whether it was hosting family dinners or welcoming friends into her home for a game of cards or a hearty meal, she made everyone feel like family. Her kitchen was always open-often filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals-and there was always room at the table for one more.
A spirited card player with a fondness for poker nights accompanied by a glass of Pinot Grigio, Nancy found joy in simple pleasures shared with others. Thursday night card games with her ladies were sacred gatherings filled with laughter and camaraderie. She also enjoyed shooting pool and bowling-activities that reflected both her competitive streak and fun-loving nature.
Nancy's legacy is one of generosity, humor, strength, and unwavering love. She was not only a devoted mother and grandmother but also a lifelong friend to many. Her extended family and wide circle of friends were constants in her life-people she cherished deeply.
Her Catholic upbringing remained an important part of who she was throughout her life. It shaped the compassion she showed others and the grace with which she faced life's challenges.
Nancy Eleanor Dycewicz will be remembered as someone who lit up every room she entered-with laughter on her lips, kindness in her heart, and always ready to share a story or lend an ear. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her so dearly.
