Nancy Ann Loper Edmonds, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, left this world on June 6, 2025, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on December 21, 1956, in the picturesque town of Seymour, Indiana, she spent her life leaving an indelible mark of love and warmth on all who had the privilege to know her.
As a proud 1975 graduate of Seymour High School, Nancy's educational journey, combined with her deep Christian faith, nurtured the values that she carried throughout her life. She embodied love, care, and generosity, traits that defined her relationships with family and friends alike. To Nancy, family was everything; she was a steadfast presence within her household, nurturing her children and grandchildren with an abundance of love that resonated deep within their hearts.
Nancy was also an exceptional cook, her culinary talents resulting in recipes that will forever be cherished by her loved ones. The scent of her chicken and dumplings, cinnamon twists, and sugar cookies filled the air with warmth and joy during family gatherings, where laughter and love flourished alongside every shared meal. These culinary delights were reflections of her nurturing spirit and attention to detail, making every bite a treasured memory.
Beyond her kitchen, Nancy was an accomplished artist, expressing her creativity through painting and crafts. Her artistry served as both a means of personal expression and a way to connect with those around her. She found beauty in the world, especially in her beloved garden where flowers blossomed under her attentive care, showcasing her love for nature. In her leisure moments, she enjoyed cheering for her favorite football team and was a devoted Tom Brady fan, reveling in the excitement of the game.
Nancy is survived by her devoted family: sons Bobby Edmonds and his wife Amber of Seymour, Tommy Edmonds of Hanover, Cody Edmonds of Hanover, daughter Stephanie Maschino of Seymour, daughter Trina Edmonds and her life partner Mark Goins of Madison, daughter Briana Edmonds and her life partner Ethan Boldrey of Hanover, and daughter Angie Edmonds of Seymour. She will also be remembered fondly by her brothers, Tom Loper and his wife Betty of Bloomington and Jerry Loper and his wife Debbie of Norman. Her legacy continues through the laughter and love of her seven grandchildren—Ramona Boldery, Ariah Edmonds, Patrick Maschino, Kaleigh Maschino, Micah Maschino, Isabel Maschono, and Keifer Galliher—and two great-grandchildren, Palmer Maschino and Emery Maschino.
She now joins her beloved parents, William and Doris Bell Loper, and her dear husband, Robert Edmonds, as they greet her with open arms in the heavenly realm.
