Nancy Annette Quinsey Elkins, age 71, of Chattahoochee, Florida, gained her Angel Wings with loved ones by her side on Monday, January 1, 2024 in Tallahassee, Florida.
Nancy was born April 11, 1952 as the second daughter of James and Virginia Quinsey. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, Byron Elkins; daughters Vicki (Steve) Auger of Tallahassee, Pam (Troy) Singletary of Whigham, son Dewayne (Sonya) Elkins of Havana; grandchildren Candace (Daniel) Rowan, Jack Auger, Jeff Auger, Grayson (Cassie) Dean, Garrett (Elizabeth) Harrell, Sam Singletary and Tristen Singletary; great-grandchildren Cayson, Tanner, Layton, Esme and Elisa; sisters Laverne (Billy) Barrett, Glenda (Dewayne) Shepard and Ann (Wayne) Joyner and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins that loved her dearly.
She spent the majority of her career working as an Office Manager at two Tallahassee law firms. Nothing made her smile more than spending time with her family.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024. Family will receive family and friends at 2:00 p.m. with the service at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, 6972 Florida/Georgia Highway, Havana, Florida.
