Nancy Moore Ferguson was born on November 9, 1941 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Curtis and Ruby Hulen Godwin.
On December 28, 2000, she was united in marriage to Gerald Ferguson, who preceded his wife in death on October 6, 2010.
Nancy worked for Brown Shoe Company for 14 years and later worked as a dietician for Hardin Medical Center for 26 years. She enjoyed being outside, watching tv, talking with people, and visiting with her neighbors. Nancy was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church in Crump, Tennessee.
Nancy Moore Ferguson departed this life on February 21, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 3 months, and 12 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Vaughan and her husband Michael of Crump, Tennessee; brothers, Jimmy Godwin and Glen Godwin, both of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Kathy Thompson of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Preston Moore, Samantha Grisham, Chelsea Fleming, Cody Vaughan, and Riley Vaughan; and great grandchild, Eli Moore.
In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Eric Moore.
