Nancy Fracker Obituary
Nancy was born in Zanesville on August 19, 1945. She is the daughter of the late Walter R. and Violet M. (Palmer) Gatewood. Nancy worked for many years as a receiving clerk at Genesis Hospital. She also worked for Imlay Florists off and on for many years, and she was a member of the Philo United Methodist Church. In her free time, Nancy loved to help out at church fundraisers, make flower arrangements, and speak at church services. Nancy also acted as the Youth Director for the Chandlersville United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler, and she loved to spend time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her son, John "Junior" (Lisa) Fracker of Duncan Falls; her grandchildren, Jason Fracker, Melissa (Brad) Severt, Justin (Ali) Fracker, Brian (Mandy) Orr, and Christy Orr; her ten great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Ryan; her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her many, many friends.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, John Fracker Sr.; her daughter, Wendy S. Potts; and her siblings, Carol Hildebrand, and Marion Gatewood.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, in Duncan Falls Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her Husband. Pastor Jeff Belt will officiate the service. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Fracker Family.
