Franklin, Nancy Ann – of Clio, age 85, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place.
Nancy was born on October 12, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Hugh and Rosemary (Hill) McMahon. Nancy was a devoted homemaker, embodying the true essence of family and faith. A woman of strong Catholic convictions, she dedicated her life to nurturing her loved ones, and her beloved grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. In her vibrant younger years, Nancy made her mark at a head start program, sharing her warmth and wisdom with the little ones. Her meticulous nature shone through in her love for scrapbooking and organizing. She never shied away from her passions, including her fascination with the stock market, which she eagerly followed, keeping an eye on the ticker with genuine enthusiasm.
Surviving are: Sons: Mark (Jan) Franklin, Timothy (Shirley) Franklin and Douglas (Renee) Franklin; Grandchildren: Krystal (John) Sanders, Trisha ( Adam) Perry, Courtney (Kyle) Deckert, Meghan (Mark) Randazzo, Megan (Cory) Bray, Lauren (Jackson) Fahrney, Mitchell Franklin and Nicholas Franklin; she was blessed with 7 great grandchildren; Sister, Sharon (Kent) Sommers. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Gaylon Franklin; Sister, Maureen McMahon.
