Nancy Lee (Wega) Fulgenzi, age 72, of St. Ignace, Michigan, died on August 28, 2025, at her home. She was born on December 20, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Francis and Dorothy (Hopkinson) Wega. Nancy, fondly known as Mama, Grandma, and so much more, lived a life centered around love, generosity, and service to others. She dedicated herself to her family and her community, leaving behind a lasting legacy of kindness. Many will remember the warmth she poured into every meal at The Trading Post & Meat Market and the hospitality she extended at The Pines Motel, where everyone who walked through the door felt like family. Nancy had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome, whether they were neighbors, friends, or strangers. Her steady presence, selflessness, and compassion touched countless lives, and her memory will be carried on in the hearts of all who knew her. Nancy is survived by her children, Rhonda (Ron) Rogers, Nancy (Ray) Poellot, Martin (AnnMarie) Fulgenzi Jr., Francis "Frank" Fulgenzi, and Renee Fulgenzi-Langohr; grandchildren, Erin (Pete) Brambilla, Christopher Bidinger, Jared (Magan) Rogers, Ciana Rogers, Brandon (Alyssa) Poellot, Brittany (Bryce) Frazier, Kyle Fulgenzi, Kayla (Louie) Grondin, Keegan (Stephanie) Fulgenzi, Kameron Fulgenzi, Dravin Fulgenzi, Madison "Maddie" Fulgenzi, Lynsey Langhor, and Nickolas "Nick" Langhor; great-grandchildren, Zachary Brambilla, Isaac Brambilla, Emily Brambilla, Hannah Konoski, Evan Konoski, Ella Konoski, Alex Konoski, Archer Poellot, Eli Frazier, Kinsley Frazier, Kolten Fulgenzi, Cecil Grondin, Annsley Grondin, Karsen Fulgenzi, Hazel Fulgenzi; sister, Donna (John "Bud") Ross; brother, Francis "Frank" (Mary-Lee) Wega; nephews, Brian (Jody) Wega and Scott Wega; and great-nephews, Cooper Wega and Rylan Wega. Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Martin; parents, Frank and Dorothy; grandchild, Emerson Richard Poellot; great-niece, Mercedes "Sadie" Wega; and great-nephew, Dakota Wega. Per Nancy's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held on October 5, 2025, at the Little Bear Arena, 275 Marquette St, St Ignace, MI 49781. Time will be announced at a later date.
