Mary Ann, born on October 23, 1946, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Paul and Mary, brought joy and energy into the world from the very beginning. Her vibrant spirit was evident throughout her life, touching everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A graduate of Solon High School, Class of 1965, Mary Ann soon met the love of her life, Phillip. Their bond was immediate and enduring, leading to a joyful marriage and the blessing of two wonderful children. Mary Ann dedicated many years of service to the U.S. Postal Service, retiring as Post Master in Gates Mills, Ohio. She was also a founding member of Divine Word Parish in Kirtland.
Known for her warmth and hospitality, Mary Ann found immense joy in hosting family gatherings, especially during the holidays. Whether it was Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any celebration in between, she was always the heart of the party. Her love for Freddy Mercury and the rock group Queen-was matched only by her talent in the kitchen. A gifted cook and baker, Mary Ann had a special flair for cake decorating, and her creations were as beautiful as they were delicious.
Above all, Mary Ann treasured time spent with her family. Her grandchildren brought her endless happiness, and her legacy of love and kindness will live on through them.
