Terrence Gardiner Edward Parmelee Jr. (48 yrs) passed away peacefully at his home in Moreland Hills, Ohio surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 19 after a year-long fight against cancer. Terry is survived by his wife, Emily (Baldauf), and cherished son, Graham.
He was born in Solon, Ohio to the late Terrence Parmelee Sr. and Susan Parmelee. In addition to his mother and immediate family, he also leaves behind his sister Whitney Eddington (Steven), brother Nicholas (Janine), aunt Eileen, in-laws, Gregory and Audrey Baldauf, sister-in-law, Sarah Baldauf (Christopher), brother-in-law Luke Baldauf (Kourtney), and his beloved nieces and nephews (Peyton and Benjamin Eddington, Jack and Thomas Parmelee, Cybele and Stella Fickes).
Terry graduated from Solon High School (class of 1995), Kenyon College (class of 1999), and received his MBA from Kent State University. He was an accomplished student athlete at Solon and Kenyon playing both football and baseball. He went on to have a career in sales and marketing until his illness last year.
He deeply valued gatherings with his family, and any occasion to interact with the truly cross-generational collection of friends he held dear.
In that vein, the family invites those who knew Terry to gather at Chagrin Valley Country Club, 4700 SOM Ctr Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022, on Thursday, April 24 from 4-8 PM, to celebrate his life and the true common thread he was to us all. A private burial will precede.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Cleveland Ronald McDonald house in Terry's name.

Sue and Terry, the loss of a child, regardless of age, is a most difficult loss to deal with. We will never forget your thoughtfulness when Pat passed. I think of you fondly. My family and I offer our condolences and prayers. May you and your family find solace and peace in this difficult time.
