Nancy Gorley Obituary
She was born on February 10, 1943, in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Henry and Anna Mae (Ware) Schroeder. Nancy worked at Foote Industries in Fredericktown, Ohio for 15 years. She enjoyed music with her late husband John and oldest daughter Lorraine and youngest son and their Singer. John Sr. put Nancy in charge of running the sound mixer for the band. She loved her family and was a wonderful mom. Nancy enjoyed going to Church with her daughter every Sunday. Nancy was always kind to others and had a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her children, Lorraine (Ron) Gorley and two sons; her grandchildren, Crystal (Anthony) Skulas, Sommer, Shane, Jerica (Tony) Perkins of New York; great grandchildren Cassie (Scottie) Gorley, Emma Skulas, Harper Perkins and 2 other great grandchildren; nephew Marty (Charly) McCament; her niece Megan (John) Berkley and their 2 daughters Madeline and Emmie.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, of over 55 years, John Gorley Sr.
In keeping with Nancy's wishes, there will be no calling hours. There will be a celebration of life service at a later date.
