Nancy Gosser Obituary

Nancy S. Gosser, 90, of Greensburg, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2026. She was born April 25, 1935, in Trafford, a daughter of the late Kenneth D. Sr. and Louise Z. Bowser Slates. She was a member, elder, and former deacon at Maplewood United Presbyterian Church, Greensburg. She had also been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband, David J. Gosser; and a brother, Kenneth D. Slates Jr. Nancy is survived by her nephews, Kenneth D. (Sue) Slates, Robert (Beth) Gosser, and Jon Brian (Rosie) Slates; and a niece, Lisa Dawn Frketic. The family wishes to thank Missy Hice and the staff at Barnes Place as well as Connie Vella and the staff at Independence Hospice for the care that they gave Nancy. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at Maplewood United Presbyterian Church, 108 Woodland Dr., Greensburg. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
