In Loving Memory of Nancy L Graber
Nancy, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on her birthday, December 10th 2024 at the age of 78. Her presence was a beacon of love, compassion, and unwavering support to all who knew her.
Born in Iowa in 1946, Nancy dedicated her life to caring for those she loved most. As the devoted wife of Reas for 58 years, their partnership was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect. Together, they built a family full of cherished memories, joy, and laughter.
Nancy was the proud mother of four children, Kevin Graber (Dawn), Craig Graber, Melissa Crider (David) and Don Graber, each of whom carries forward her legacy of kindness, strength, and resilience. She was also the adored grandmother of, Rob, Ciera, Kyle, and Gavin, and the doting great-grandmother of Mckenzie, and Adam, always delighting in the milestones and moments of her family's lives. Her mom, dad, brother and sister have all proceeded her in death.
Nancy found great joy in her passions for sewing and gardening. She spent countless hours creating beautiful quilts, garments, purses and crafts, each made with care and attention to detail. She gifted many of her creations to family and friends. Her green thumb was evident in the vibrant gardens she lovingly tended, filled with flourishing flowers and plants that brought beauty and peace to those around her. She found joy in sharing her creations and inspiring others with her talents.
Her caring nature extended far beyond her family. Nancy was a true friend to many, offering her listening ear, warm hugs, wise advice and heart lifting smile. She touched the lives of countless people with her gentle compassion and genuine love for others. She volunteered in her community by supporting homeless shelters and her local homeowners association most notably the development of the community butterfly garden. As poll worker for the Lee County Elections she supported early and election day voting. She spent many years working at the Clarence High School touching the lives of countless coworkers, and students.
Nancy will be missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and kindness lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Friday December 13th from 5:30pm to 8pm at the Bella Tera Club house. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lee Health ALS Clinic https://leehealthfoundation.org/donate/ in honor of her generous spirit. Please chose the designation of other and type in "ALS Clinic".

Mrs. G was like a second mom to me when we lived across the street on Old Hickory. She was there to keep an eye on us at school and at home. She is a part of so many of my childhood memories, all of them happy ones, many of them quite funny. Thank you for your kindness and support to me and to so many. May you rest in peace.
