Nancy passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love, care, and steady presence made a lasting impact on everyone around her.
Nancy spent her career helping others as a dedicated nurse, CPR instructor, and respiratory therapist. She worked at Abbeville General, Our Lady of Lourdes, and Lafayette General. Her compassion and professionalism made her respected by coworkers and trusted by the patients and families she cared for.
She loved being outdoors, whether it was fishing with her husband and boys, gardening, or simply sitting outside in the sunshine. She also loved animals and was known for her gentle way with them. Nancy enjoyed trips to the beach, cheering for LSU baseball, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her family meant everything to her.
Nancy was a talented baker and loved to share what she made with neighbors, friends, and family. Her home was often filled with the smell of something sweet and the comfort of good company. She also gave her time generously, especially through volunteering and supporting 4-H.
