Francis Hebert Obituary
Funeral services officiated by Deacon William "Billy" Vincent will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Francis Ray Hebert, 88, who passed away on January 28, 2026, at Vermilion Heath Care Center. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Hebert, Sandy Hebert, Garrett Hebert, Jesse Hebert, Justin Hebert and Russell Buford. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Vice, Troy Lavergne, and Timmy Hebert.
Francis was a hard worker throughout his life at everything he did. He worked as an offshore welder and also owned Hebert's Farm and Ranch. He always enjoyed gardening and loved to tell stories of when he was a child.
Francis had a tremendous heart and unfailing love for his family. He was a quiet man and never met a stranger that he did not leave without a kind word and a smile.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Hebert and significant other, Theresa Nevils; his sons, Timothy Hebert and Chad Hebert and his wife, Christine L. Hebert; grandchildren, Justin Lane, Ashlyn Rose Marie, Garrett J. Gabriel, Jesse Anthony Joseph, Tiffany Hebert and her children, Laura and her wife and their children, Lacy and her husband and their children, Heida and her wife, Ana Ramirez and their son; his brother, Nolan Hebert; along with a host of loving family members and friends who were touched by his generous spirit.
He was preceded in death by his first loving wife, Laura Landry Hebert; his second beloved wife, Brenda Benoit Hebert; his parents, Aurelie Hebert and the former Jeanette Broussard Hebert; and his brothers, Johnny Hebert, Melvin Hebert, and Harold Hebert.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
