Janiel Hargrave Obituary
A graveside service officiated by Reverend Farley Painter will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 22, 2025, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery honoring the life of Janiel A. Hargrave, 76, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at Ochsner American Legion Hospital - Jennings. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by her four sons, John Hargrave Jr. of Tennessee, James Hargrave of Tennessee, Larry LeBlanc of Kaplan, and Mark Palombo; her four daughters, Ella LeBlanc of Kaplan, Lisa Hume and Todd of Texas, Michelle Hargrave of Kaplan, and Melinda Gaspard of Kaplan; her sister, Elaine Garrot of Oklahoma; her brother, Robert Keith Palombo of Delcambre; 25 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Nelson Hargrave Sr.; one son, Jeffery Hargrave; one daughter, Elizabeth LeBlanc; her parents, Percy Palombo and the former Inez Primeaux; one brother, Russell Palombo; and one son-in-law, Kim Gaspard.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (337) 643-7276.
