Nancy Greenwald, 62, of Crystal Lake, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025. She was born on June 10, 1963, in Oak Park, Illinois, to James and Elaine Carver.
Nancy grew up in Arlington Heights and Buffalo Grove and graduated from Western Illinois University. Nancy married her high school sweetheart, David Greenwald. They later moved to Crystal Lake, where they raised their boys. David preceded her in death in 2016.
Nancy was loving, determined, and deeply caring. She was outgoing and thoughtful, and she truly enjoyed being with people. Above all else, she was a mom. Her boys were her pride and joy, and her love for them was constant and evident in everything she did.
She is survived by her sons, Craig and Connor Greenwald; her sister, Paula (Kevin) Lustch; and her brother, Doug (Celeste) Carver.
