Nancy Griffin Chierici Thompson

Nancy was born in Santa Rosa on May 25, 1963 to Bill and Eleanor Griffin. Like a Shooting Star, she passed unexpectedly on June 5, 2022, also in Santa Rosa. She graduated from Santa Rosa High School and attended Santa Rosa Junior College. She then went on to build a highly decorated, award winning career in the commercial audio and business music industry as an Enterprise Sales Account Manager.
During her life she befriended one and all and created bonds and emotional connections with everyone who came into her circle. She was an intensely welcoming person, very intuitive with innate interpersonal instincts. These traits served her well in both personal and professional relationships. Her sweetness was sincere, as were her radiance and passion for life.
She liked to poke fun, had a quick wit, and relished the "recap" of happy events.
Her love for those that loved her was deep. She is predeceased by her father, Bill, and her older sister, Pam. Nancy was a devoted spouse to her husband, Denny, and a wonderful, loving mother to Griffin and Charlie. She is also survived by her mother, Eleanor, brother John and siblings Jenny, Michael, James and Laura, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends who she cherished, beginning with her crew from Proctor Terrace Elementary and extending through her well lived life in San Francisco and San Anselmo.
She had an incredible passion for fashion, art, and music and unwavering compassion for those less fortunate.
