Nancy Catherine Hall

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Nancy Catherine Hall, 62, of Roslindale, MA. Nancy passed away on February 15, 2026, at 11:05 PM at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston-the same institution where she dedicated over 40 years of her life as a nurse.

Nancy was a cornerstone of the Brigham and Women's community, serving on several floors throughout her distinguished career. To her "work family," she was a natural leader whose kind, caring, and loving heart brought light (and the occasional bit of "good" stress) to everyone she encountered.

Born in North Carolina on August 3, 1963, to Marion Clarissa Hall and Robert James Hall, Nancy was a woman who cherished family above all else. After years of dreaming of a family of her own, she was blessed with twin girls, Kaitlyn Lee Willets and Kelley Elizabeth Herlihy, who remained her pride and joy. Four years later, she welcomed her son, Lucas Austin Willets, who quickly became the new love of her life.

In recent years, Nancy embraced a new title: "George." Her grandchildren, Audrey Elizabeth Herlihy(6) and Chase Maverick Herlihy (4), were the absolute lights of her life and will deeply miss their beloved grandmother.

Nancy is survived by her children, Kaitlyn, Kelley (and husband Tyler Herlihy), and Lucas; her grandchildren, Audrey and Chase; and her siblings, Robert Steven Hall, Lynn (Rosetta) Sawyer, and Brenda Stebbins. She was predeceased by her brothers, David and Jim Hall. She also leaves behind an extensive network of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from every facet of her life.

In true Nancy fashion, she requested that there be no somber funeral. Instead, she wanted a party to celebrate her life and to ensure everyone had a good time.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 25, 2026.
