STOW - Nancy Hamiel, 68, passed away unexpectedly May 5, 2025.
Born in Framingham, MA, she was a resident of Stow since 1970. Nancy had been employed with Goodyear Tire, Goodyear Aerospace, and later Lockheed Martin, as a technical writer, retiring in 2015. She viewed her life as a great adventure, always eager to learn about other cultures and ancient civilizations. Nancy loved languages and adventure travel.
Preceded in death by her father, Joseph Patton, she is survived by her husband of 45 years, Chuck, with whom she explored the world; mother, Lois Patton; sister, Jane (Charlie) Giudici; sisters-in-law, Carla (Chris) Daly and Cindi Hamiel; six nieces and nephews, and five grand-nieces and nephews.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to a charity of their choice in Nancy’s memory.
