Nancy Harmon Obituary

Obituary of Nancy Harmon
Nancy (Nana) Harmon, went home to be with her Father on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse W. Harmon and sons, Ronny L. Harmon and Tommy R. Harmon.
Nancy was a devoted member of New Life Pentecostal Church where you would find her worshiping the Lord with her breathtaking voice. She used to sing along with her husband Jesse while he strummed the guitar, a fond memory for the entire family, and would also sing "Fear is a Liar" with her son, Troy.
You could be sure that when you were around Nancy, you were promised to hear about her love for Jesus. One of her favorite things was to sit with her daughter-in-law Sherron and have long talks about Jesus and the Bible.
Nancy had a knack for making others laugh with her quick whit and silly voices. Nancy also loved a good deal, so in her spare time, you could find her consignment shopping, a talent she passed down to her daughter and granddaughters.
Nancy was many things to many people, but one thing stood consistent in her years on this earth, and that was her desire to see everyone she came in contact with, know and love Jesus just as much as she did.
Nancy was survived by her sons, Donny W. Harmon (Tammy) and Troy S. Harmon (Sherron), and her daughter, Joy L. Morris (Thomas). Her brother Basil McCormick, and her sisters Peggy Knight and Vickie Schmitzer. Her grandchildren were Crystal (Criddle) Willis, Tabetha English, Samantha Eberhart,Leigh Harmon, Tiffany Smyth, Jared Harmon, Kristen Harmon, Amanda Harmon, Matthew O'Dell and Micah Harmon. Nancy was also blessed with great grandchildren, Tyler Robinson, Hayden Willis, Paxton Willis, Harmon English and Maxwell Eberhart.
"Yet, when this flesh and heart shall fail, and mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, a life of joy and peace." - Amazing Grace, one of Nancy's favorite songs.
