Nancy Yvonne "Newman" Harper

Nancy Yvonne (Newman) Harper, 83, of Bridgewater, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Bridgewater Retirement Community.

She was born on February 25, 1942, and was a daughter of the late Lawrence A. Newman, Sr. and Angelene C. (Chapman) Newman.

Nancy had worked as a beautician, having owned and operated Nan's New Look for nearly 60 years in Bridgewater. She was also a member of the Round Hill Garden Club and an active member of the Dayton United Methodist Church.

Nancy was united in marriage to Ralph Harper who preceded her in death.

Nancy is survived by daughter, Yvonne (Jonathan) Burgers; three brothers, Lawrence "Larry" Newman, Carey (Gertie) Newman, Dwight (Betsy) Newman; two sisters, Darlene Newman, Marlene Key; eleven nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Dayton United Methodist Church with Pastor Jenny Day officiating. Burial will be private.
