Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. - Allentown on Feb. 18, 2026.
Nancy Eileen "Lee" Heintz, 74, of Trexlertown, passed Friday, February 13, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Easton, she was the eldest daughter of the late Nancy M. (Faber) and Herbert Fulmer. She was a graduate of Newton High School in New Jersey. Eileen raised her children In Milford, Pennsylvania, where she worked many jobs. She was employed by the Delaware Valley High School where she worked as a secretary for the principal's office. She had also worked in Milford at the former Weinstein and Schneider Law Office as a paralegal secretary. She was employed at the former Zator Law Office as a legal secretary prior to retiring in 2022. Eileen's greatest joy was being with her children and grandchildren. She was loved by many for her kindness and generosity. Eileen enjoyed crocheting gifts for family members, including blankets and scarves, and knitting, especially items made as Christmas donations. In the warmer months, she could be found sitting on her balcony tending to her flowers and watching the birds.

Eileen was an avid sports fan. She was a lifelong New York Mets fan. She enjoyed attending and watching the Mets with her family. She also enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs football team and watching NASCAR races.

Survivors include daughter, Melissa D. Helmer, Trexlertown; son, Christopher J. Gouger and wife, Karyn, Milford; grandchildren, Jonathan and Emily Gouger, Gabriel and Lauren Helmer; sisters, Lynn Stevens, East Stroudsburg, Debbie Fulmer, Shohola; nephews, TJ Stevens and wife, Stephanie; Kory Stevens and wife, Emilie; great nephews, Cohl, Jaxon, Karter, and Landon Stevens; former husband, Fred D. Gouger and wife, Joan E., Mexico, NY. She was preceded in death by sister, Kathleen Nichols, and brother-in-law, Thomas Stevens.

Services: Private. Arrangements entrusted to Heintzelman – Stephens Funeral Home, P.C.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, Eileen would like everyone to plant either a Morning Glory plant or hang a windchime in her memory. Both of those things brought a smile to her face.

My condolences to Missy, Gabe and Lauren and extended family. Eileen was a special lady (who, on occasion, I called "Nancy Pants"). She was my lunch buddy at Zator Law. We had so many great conversations, lots of laughs, some tears at times, but always heartfelt fellowship. Her contributions of crocheted hats and scarves to the Holiday Hope Chest were treasured by those who received them. Her homemade fudge was loved as well. RIP my friend. I'll hang a wind chime in your name.
