With deep sorrow and boundless love, we announce the passing of our cherished Nancy May Holton who left this world peacefully on July 1 2025 surrounded by her devoted family. She was 71 years old.
Nancy was the heart and soul of our family - a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a proud grandma, and a guiding light to all who knew her. For over 50 years, she shared an unwavering bond of love and marriage with her husband Jim. Their marriage was a true testament to faith, loyalty, laughter, and the kind of love that endures through all seasons of life. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising three children who carry her spirit forward every day: son, Jimmy Holton and wife Micki, Daughters Trisha Martin and Lisa Hawley husband Brandon Hawley. She was the proud grandma to seven grandchildren, Joey, Hunter, Hanna, Madison, Ben, Maylin and Etta who were her greatest joy. Her hugs were the warmest, her advice the wisest, and her love for her family, endless.
Born into a lively and loving family, Nancy was one of six siblings and was a beloved sister to her sisters and brothers, Cheryl, Kathleen Gene, Patti, and Danny. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and quiet strength lives on in her countless nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
She lived a life of grace, humility, and deep faith, always putting others before herself. All that knew her would say that you could see Jesus in her eyes and just her presence made everyone around feel seen, heard, and loved.
She is survived by her loving family who will carry her memory and love for the Gospel of Jesus forward.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Sophie O'Neill in laws Earnest and Bernadette Holton sister Kathleen and brother Danny.
You could often find Nancy enjoying spending time with her husband out on the water fishing, or spending time with her family. She loved music, dancing, church and spending time in Gods word.
