Nancy C. Hulshizer
DOVER – Nancy C. Hulshizer, 79, went home to be with the Lord at 11:29 a.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at UPMC Harrisburg. She was the loving wife of the late Stephen J. Hulshizer to whom she was married for 54 years.
Born August 10, 1944 in Jefferson Township, Lackawana County, she was a daughter of the late Eugene R. Davis and Ruth E. (Kellogg) Davis-Betts.
Nancy was a homemaker who devoted her life to helping her husband in the Lord's work and to her family. She was an amazing hostess who used her talents to feed countless numbers of people attending The Bible Study Program. She loved spending summers at Greenwood Hills working with Youth Congress and Boys Camp. When her children started school, she discovered her talent as a painter and was a featured artist in Williamsburg for many years.
Nancy is survived by three daughters, Jennifer M. Damiano of York, Beverly R. Starke of Mays Landing, NJ and Deborah C. Schiller and husband, Randall of York; 11 grandchildren, Rachel, Malachi, Victoria, Alessandra, Dondre, Darby, Caleb, Cheyne, Dayna, Devynn and Madison; two great grandchildren, Landon and Colette; and three siblings.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Nancy's memorial service at 12 noon on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at North York Gospel Chapel, 2854 Lewisberry Rd., York with the visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
