Nancy Iacono Obituary
Born in Serrara Fontana Ischia, in the Naples region of Italy she was the daughter of the late Nunzio and Adelina Mattera. Nancy came to America with her sister Gina in 1966 to explore new beginnings. She married her husband Federico in the summer of 1970 and shortly after started their family. Nancy attended St Anthony's Club in Chester, and regularly enjoyed card games with her Italian friends and family.
She retired in 2008 from Crozer Hospital where she worked in professional cleaning and laundry services. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them especially, her grandsons.
She is predeceased by her siblings Chiara Mattera, Maria Mattera, Mercedes Ferrandino, Antonia Mattera and Francesco Mattera Survivors: Beloved wife of 55 years of Federico Iacono, loving mother of Federico (Melissa) Iacono and Francesca (Joe) Connolly, cherished Nonna of Andrew and Mathew Connolly, dear sister of Gina (Antonio)DePiano and many nieces and nephews
Funeral Service: 11am Thursday, December 18, 2025 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 Viewing: 10-11am at the funeral home Entombment: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery
