Nancy Ivy

Nancy Ivy, beloved retired bus driver and a cherished member of the Aberdeen, Mississippi community, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on April 20, 1951, in Aberdeen, she spent her life serving others, a testament to her kind heart and generous spirit.

Nancy dedicated many years to her profession as a bus driver, where she became a familiar and friendly face for countless students and their families. Known for her unwavering commitment and love for her job, she created a safe and welcoming environment for all who rode on her bus.

Nancy's legacy lives on through her family. She is survived by her loving sons, Reginald Ivy and Desmond Ivy, and her daughter, Alsyra Ivy. Her life was further enriched by her eight grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. She was also supported by her sisters, Castella Banks and Priscilla Ivy, with whom she shared a deep bond.

As we remember Nancy Ivy, we celebrate a life devoted to family, community, and service. She will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
