Nancy L. Jacobs

Nancy L. (Cameron) Jacobs, 85, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Gardens of Gettysburg. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard B. Jacobs. Together, they shared many joyful years of marriage until his passing in 2015.
Born on October 18, 1939, in Walpole, Massachusetts, Nancy was the daughter of the late John E. and Ruth M. (Carr) Cameron.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. A dedicated homemaker for much of her life, she also worked as a cashier at several local stores. She had a passion for baking and found great joy in caring for her loved ones.
She is survived by her children: Connie Croft of Hanover; Laura Pettit and her husband Michel of Priest River, ID; Richard Jacobs and his wife Cyndi of Hanover. Nancy was a proud grandmother to Craig Croft, Cameron Croft, Shawn Pettit, Caleb Pettit, Pierce Jacobs, Mallorie Jacobs, Zander Jacobs, Indira Jacobs, Chelsea Jacobs, and Kyle Jacobs; and a great-grandmother to Ziva Jacobs. She is also remembered fondly by many extended family members and dear friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Michael Jacobs; a granddaughter, Carol Croft; her siblings, John Cameron, William A. Cameron, and Gail E. Netland; and her son-in-law, Charles Croft.
Following cremation, a graveside service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Marburg Memorial Gardens, 2510 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Pastor Tyler Weidler officiating. There will be no public viewing.
