Nancy Patrum Johnson, 79 went home to be with the Lord and her grandson, Nick, on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at her son’s home surrounded by her family. She was born in Randolph County to the late Robert Hurley and Clara Belle Allred Patrum and was the wife of the late William “Bill" Johnson who died in 1993.

 Nancy retired from Alexander Fabrics and had formerly worked with Webco Textiles and Dan River. After retirement she worked at Walmart on Graham Hopedale Road for several years. She was a 1964 graduate of Southern Alamance High School and member of Mt. Pleasant Church in Kimesville. Nancy enjoyed working in her flowers, cooking for her family, listening to Blue Grass Music, gospel music and attending Blue Grass Festivals at Bass Mountain. She was fond of traveling to the beach and picking up seashells along the shoreline. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family.

 Nancy is survived by her children, William “Billy” Johnson and wife, Angela, Randy Lee Johnson and wife, Jean, Carolyn Allred and husband, Don and Rodney Johnson; her grandchildren, Jessica Johnson and husband, Matt, Chris Johnson and wife, Audrie, Jennifer Austin and husband, Isaac, Donnie Allred and wife, Lisa, and Tommy Johnson and wife, Traci; her thirteen great grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Ann Ferguson and Linda Faye Doby; her several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Johnson; her grandson, Nicholas Dewey “Nick” Johnson; her brother, Bobby Patrum and her brothers-in-law, James Ferguson and Junior Doby.

 A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 2:00PM at Mt. Pleasant Church by Pastor Andy Clapp with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and following the graveside service on Friday in the fellowship hall of the church. The family at other times will be at the home of William and Angela Johnson.

 Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Church, 4400 Alamance Church Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
