Nancy married the love of her life, Anson B. Johnson Jr., on January 31, 1959 in the Clifton Springs Methodist Church. She had been a member of the Palmyra Baptist Church, the Canandaigua Baptist Church and most recently, Lifespring Community Church. Trust in the Lord forever, For in the Lord, is everlasting strength." Nancy's walk with the Lord was evident in her desire to help and support others through her involvement in the Crisis Pregnancy Center, the Open Door Mission and the One-to-One Mentoring program where she served as a volunteer student aide and mentor. Nancy's spare time was spent gardening, reading and taking care of her family.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 66 years, Anson B. Johnson Jr.; her daughters Jackie (Susan Elkins) VanNorman and Amy (Philip) Rupp; sons Anson B.
