Nancy Kaffl Obituary

was born in Baltimore, Maryland in October of 1953 to Charles and Elizabeth (Aldrich)
Barrett.
Nancy had been a shock trauma nurse at Hopkins for many years before retiring to
raise her son and cultivate a home whose decor and greenery was the envy of all who
visited.
She is survived by her husband, Stephan Kaffl of Selbyville, a sister, Patricia Teeple of
Manteo, NC, and her son and his wife, Stephan and Megan Kaffl of Maryland.
Nancy was the life of every outing, creating a web of friendships with her infectious
kindness and joy. She took pride in being a part of her loved one's lives, never
forgetting a moment - from the highest of highs, to the lowest of lows.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please direct donations in her memory to St. Jude's Children's
Hospital.
