Nancy Norman King, age 70, of Knoxville, Tennessee, entered into the presence of her Lord on September 5, 2025 (the very day she and her husband marked their 33rd wedding anniversary.) Surrounded by the love of her husband at their home, Nancy left behind the frailty of this world and stepped into Glory, where all things are made new.

Nancy and her husband were both born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, their lives beginning in the same mountain town though on separate paths. Years later, those paths would meet in Knoxville, Tennessee, where love found its home. In the shelter of the Smoky Mountains, they wove together a life of faith, gratitude, and devotion; a shared journey that became their greatest blessing.

For twelve long years, Nancy bore the pain and limitations of a failed hip replacement. Yet even in the suffering, she remained steadfast in spirit; a woman of quiet strength and unshakable faith. Her husband served faithfully as her sole care giver throughout those years, a devotion that spoke as much of love as it did of loyalty. Together, they faced hardship with courage, perseverance, and grace.

Above all, Nancy was a powerful woman of God. Her faith shaped her life, sustained her through trial, and inspired those who knew her. She lived as an example of perseverance in suffering and joy in the promise of eternal life.

Today, Nancy is remembered as a beautiful soul, radiant in faith and love. She is now whole, free, and at peace in the everlasting presence of her Savior.

Glory be to the Lord, who makes all things new!

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jean Norman.

She is survived by her husband, Ian King and brother, George Norman Jr. and his wife, Joyce C. Timms.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday September 10th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. Bishop Steve Warren and Pastor Woody Martin will be officiating the service.

Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 11th in Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville, for graveside services and interment.
