Private Family Funeral Services will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kelliher, MN on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Nancy was born on April 26, 1949 in Crookston, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Moreau) Stomberg. She attended school in Red Lake and Kelliher, MN graduating from Kelliher High School in 1967. She graduated with a teaching degree from Bemidji State University in May, 1987. She had worked at the Kelliher Shopping Center and was hired by Kelliher Public Schools from September, 1988 until her retirement in May, 2013. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kelliher and St. Patrick's Christian Mothers. Nancy enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, watching her grandkids play sports and being with her family.
Nancy is survived by her son, TJ (Shelly) Koisti of West Fargo, ND; daughter, Tessa (Josh Helmer) Koisti of Kelliher, MN; 2 grandsons, Cole Koisti of Kelliher, MN and Brayden Koisti of Grand Forks, ND; granddaughter, Kenna Latterell of Kelliher, MN; brother, John (Patty) Stomberg of Beaverton, OR; brother-in-law, Tony Long of Kelliher, MN; sister-in-law, Karen Stomberg of Kelliher, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her dad, Joseph L. Stomberg; mother, Dorothy O. Stomberg; 2 sisters, Karen (& Sylvester) Poxleitner and Mary Beth Long; 3 brothers, Joseph L. Stomberg, James Stomberg and Michael Stomberg.
